KCH managed the project from demolition of the old house to the construction of the new house.  The quality of workmanship was excellent.  All the workers involved in the construction of the house were very experienced in their trade.  Throughout the project, the assigned project manager was very professional in addressing any of our questions or concerns. The design team and other staff members provided the necessary support to ensure the quality of our custom home. The construction site was always kept clean and safe, which we greatly appreciated because it is a one street community without outlet. Can you build on my lot?

Yes — building on your land is one of our specialties. We build on in-town lots, acreage, and rural properties across Central Florida, including Wedgefield, Chuluota, Geneva, Groveland, Clermont, Oviedo, and throughout Osceola County. We handle site evaluation, well and septic, land clearing coordination, and everything else it takes to turn a raw piece of land into your home site. Don’t own land yet? How long does it take to build a custom home?

Once we break ground, most homes are completed in about seven to nine months, weather permitting. Before that, plan design, pricing, permitting and loan closing typically take a few months, so the full timeline from first meeting to move-in is usually around a year. We’ll give you a realistic schedule before construction begins, and your project manager will update you on all progress at every stage — no wondering what’s happening with your home.

What's the process for building a custom home with you?

It’s simpler than most people expect. First, we meet for a free consultation to talk through your vision, your land (or your land search), and your budget. Second, we design your home — either from scratch or starting from one of our floor plans. Third, we give you detailed, itemized pricing and a clear contract, so you know exactly what you’re getting before we break ground. Fourth, we build — with a dedicated project manager who gives you regular updates on your home. Finally, we walk the finished home together, hand you the keys, and stay available after you move in. That last part matters to us — just ask our past clients.

Do you build fully custom homes, or do you have floor plans to choose from?

Both. Bring us your own vision and we’ll design and build it from the ground up — or start with one of our proven floor plans and customize it to fit your family. Many of our clients land somewhere in between: a plan they love, modified until it’s truly theirs. Either way, you’re never forced into a box.

Do you help with financing or construction loans?

While we’re not a lender, we’ve guided hundreds of families through the construction financing process. We work regularly with construction-loan lenders who understand custom building, and we’re happy to point you toward lenders our past clients have had good experiences with. We’ll also make sure your builder documentation — plans, specs, and contract — is everything your lender needs to move quickly.
