Outdoor Spaces
Pools, covered lanais, outdoor kitchens, treehouses, and backyards built for Florida living.
Built for Life Outside
In Central Florida, the backyard is where a home really gets lived in. Every Kent Custom Homes plan can be designed around the outdoor space you want, whether that is a pool and spa, a covered lanai with a full outdoor kitchen, a screened enclosure that keeps the evenings bug-free, or simply a deep back porch looking out over your land. Because we design and build under one roof, your outdoor living is planned from the first sketch, not added on later. Here are a few of the outdoor spaces we have built for families across Osceola County and Central Florida.
Pools & Spas
From resort-style pools with sun shelves and spas to clean, modern plunge pools, we coordinate the pool contractor with the home so the deck, screen, and lanai all line up.
Covered Lanais & Porches
Deep covered lanais with tongue-and-groove ceilings, fans, and big sliding or folding doors that open the living room to the yard.
Outdoor Kitchens
Built-in grills, vent hoods, sinks, and refrigeration, finished to match the house so the lanai works like a second kitchen.
Outdoor Fireplaces & Gazebos
Stone fireplaces and screened gazebo rooms that make the porch a year-round space.
Custom Treehouse & Play Spaces
A two-story backyard treehouse built into a live oak in St. Cloud, with a spiral slide, rope swings, a climbing net, a covered porch and a finished playroom inside, all set on artificial turf. Proof that an outdoor space can be built for the kids just as carefully as the house.
Backyards & Outbuildings
In-ground trampolines, detached garages and workshops, and three-bay barns and outbuildings designed to match the main house.
